Jadon Sancho has 'publicly embarrassed' Ten Hag and that's why he won't play for Man United again - Agbonlahor
Gabby Agbonlahor has claimed “it’s too late” for Jadon Sancho to apologise to Erik ten Hag and backed him to push for a Man United exit.
The former Aston Villa striker, speaking exclusively to Football Insider, suggested the 23-year-old’s agent will be “pulling his hair out” with his high-profile spat with Ten Hag a “bad look” for potential suitors.
Football Insider revealed on Wednesday (11 October) that Man United are open to letting exiled winger Sancho leave the club in January – with Juventus, Borussia Dortmund and Saudi Arabian clubs potentially interested.
Sancho and Ten Hag were involved in a public spat after the manager criticised the winger’s training levels in the aftermath of Man United’s loss against Arsenal in September.
The Red Devils boss has since been waiting for a public apology from the player, who is now training away from the first-team squad.
Sancho cost a reported £73million when he joined Man United from Borussia Dortmund in July 2021 – but has contributed just 12 goals and six assists for the club.

Agbonlahor told Football Insider’s Ewan Kingsbury: “I think it’s too late now.
“Even if he makes the apology, it’s been so long.
“It’s like having an argument with your girlfriend. Even when you apologise, it’s still a bit shaky.
“If Sancho says sorry, it’s not like he’s going to be all of a sudden back on the bench and playing again.
“I just don’t see that. He’s got a lot of work to do because he’s embarrassed Ten Hag.
“They’ve embarrassed each other, publicly.
“It’s been weeks. I don’t think he comes back into this side.
“I really can’t see it. I think he pushes for a move in January, but his agent must be pulling his hair out. It’s a bad look for other clubs looking in.”
