Sources: Tottenham and Fulham race to sign striker more prolific than Harry Kane
Tottenham and Fulham are set to battle for the signature of Stuttgart striker Serhou Guirassy in the January window, sources have told Football Insider.
Football Insider revealed on Friday (27 October) that a striker is the top priority for Fulham with Marco Silva expected to be given funds to spend in the winter window.
Fulham are among the lowest scorers in the Premier League and are yet to replace talisman Aleksandar Mitrović after his summer move to Al-Hilal.
However, Tottenham are also keeping tabs on red-hot striker Guirassy.
The Guinea international, who is currently out injured with a hamstring problem, has a release clause of around £15million in his Stuttgart contract.
He has been more prolific than Bayern Munich striker Harry Kane in the Bundesliga this season.

Guirassy has managed 14 goals and one assist across eight games in the German top-flight, while the ex-Tottenham man has hit nine goals and contributed four assists.
He only joined Stuttgart permanently this summer after a successful loan spell at the German outfit last season.
The 27-year-old, who was coveted by Premier League sides during his time in France, signed a contract running until June 2026.
Guirassy, who has scored twice in eight appearances for Guinea, is expected to go to the African Cup of Nations with his country in the new year.
Fulham sit 13th in the Premier League and are not currently in relegation danger despite their dismal scoring record.
Meanwhile, Tottenham sit top of the English top-flight after nine games – leading second-place Man City by two points.
