Sources: Saudi club ready to lure De Bruyne from Man City with 'jawdropping' deal
Saudi Arabia are planning to offer Man City superstar Kevin De Bruyne a huge salary package in 2024, sources have told Football Insider.
The 32-year-old is currently happy at the Etihad Stadium but a well-placed source has claimed the “jaw-dropping” finances involved could persuade him to move to the Middle East.
Football Insider initially revealed on Thursday (26 October) that Saudi Arabian officials have sounded out De Bruyne about a potential move in 2024.
It is believed the playmaker could also be offered a “jawdropping” long-term deal, providing much more security than is currently on offer at Man City.
De Bruyne‘s current contract at the Etihad Stadium is only set to run until June 2025.
And Football Insider revealed last week (22 October) that he may not be offered a contract renewal at Man City if his injury record worsens.

It is believed both player and club are in no rush to open talks over renewed terms.
De Bruyne is currently out of action with a serious hamstring injury he sustained on the opening day of the Premier League season and is expected to be sidelined until the new year.
A well-placed source has told Football Insider that Saudi Pro League clubs are not expected to make their moves for the five-time Premier League winner until the summer of 2024.
It is believed attracting more and more huge names to the Middle East between now and then is regarded as key to landing top targets like De Bruyne and Liverpool talisman Mohamed Salah.
The Belgium international made 49 total appearances last term, notching 10 goals and 31 assists in a stellar season as Man City lifted a historic treble.
