Sources: Crystal Palace reach full agreement to sign Chelsea star Lewis Hall
Crystal Palace are set to sign Lewis Hall on a season-long loan from Chelsea after all details were agreed, sources have told Football Insider.
There is not expected to be an option to buy involved in the deal as Chelsea plan to offer the 18-year-old a new deal upon his return to his parent club.
Hall is currently on a contract that runs until 2026 and, despite the club considering a renewal this summer, those talks have been paused until next year.
The full-back is awaiting confirmation of legal documents being signed off before heading across London for medical checks and final sign-offs.
The west Londoners have deemed Palace the best place for his development following Conor Gallagher’s immensely impressive loan spell there two seasons ago.
The Eagles have had a quiet transfer window so far but hope to add at least three more players before the the window closes on the 2nd of September.

The left back position at Chelsea is highly contested with Marco Cucurella, Ben Chilwell and Ian Maatsen all vying for a starting spot, which made a loan option for Hall necessary.
Hall will be the latest player top leave Stamford Bridge this season following the likes of Ngolo Kante, Edouard Mendy and Matteo Kovacic, who all left the club this summer.
The youngster has made 12 first team appearances for Chelsea, grabbing a single assist. He has been capped at every level of the England youth system, most recently winning his third cap for the Under-19s
