Sources: West Ham make move to sign Hugo Ekitike
West Ham have registered their interest in signing sought-after Paris Saint-Germain striker Hugo Ekitike, sources have told Football Insider.
The Hammers area one of four Premier League sides keen on Ekitike’s services this summer as the race for the Frenchman heats up.
Football Insider has learned that, despite reports, Everton have not yet bid for the Frenchman.
The 21-year-old joined PSG on loan last summer from fellow Ligue 1 side Stade Reims and his move was made permanent earlier this summer.
Ekitike made 32 appearances across all competitions for the French outfit last season, netting four goals and offering up four assists in those outings.
But despite the forward’s recent arrival, reports in France claim that the player has been told he is surplus to requirements in Paris and is able to find a new club.
