'Words can't describe', 'I blame PGMOL' - Chelsea fans react to Hazard message
Chelsea fans have been saddened by the news of club legend Eden Hazard hanging up his boots.
The 32-year-old took to social media to share that he would no longer be continuing to play professional football after an outstanding career hampered by injuries in the final years.
Hazard hardly featured for his most recent club Real Madrid since joining from the Blues back in 2019 after cementing himself as a club legend at Stamford Bridge.
Taking to Instagram to share the news, the winger admitted that he needed to listen to his body and “stop at the right time” but insisted that he had been able to “realise his dream” throughout his 16-year career.
During his time in London, Hazard won the Premier League and the Europa League twice as well as collecting the FA Cup and the League Cup.
His outstanding ability on the pitch made him a fan favourite and supporters were quick to share their disappointment at the news of his retirement.
