Sources: Man United set sights on Guehi after double injury blow
Crystal Palace star Marc Guehi is a target for Man United as well as several other Premier League sides, sources have told Football Insider.
It is believed the Red Devils are very much in the market for another centre-back ahead of the new year.
They are keen to add to their pool of options with Raphael Varane and Lisandro Martinez already suffering serious injuries in the 2023-24 campaign.
Guehi has been outstanding since joining Palace from Chelsea in 2021 when he cost a reported fee of up to £20million.
It is believed Liverpool, Newcastle, Arsenal and Tottenham have all held a background interest in his services in recent transfer windows.
The 23-year-old has broken into the England setup since making his senior debut in March 2022, and will now be a regular for Gareth Southgate’s side.

The centre-back was on the bench as the Three Lions beat Australia 1-0 in a Wembley friendly last week.
Guehi has turned out nine times across all competitions for Palace so far this season, including during their 1-0 win over Man United at Old Trafford last month.
He is under contract at Selhurst Park until June 2026 and earns a reported wage of £50,000-a-week on that deal.
The Chelsea academy product missed just one of Palace’s Premier League fixtures last term amid 40 total outings across all competitions.
Man United sit 10th in the Premier League as their injury woes continue.
Meanwhile, Palace are a place higher in the table after drawing 0-0 at home against Nottingham Forest last time out.
