Sources: Man United ready to accept Martial offer, three options on the table
Man United now feel the time is right for long-serving striker Anthony Martial to leave the club, sources have told Football Insider.
It is believed the Red Devils have multiple options on the table as they look to rectify the 27-year-old’s future.
Football Insider revealed on Tuesday (10 October) Martial is not keen to continue in a backup role at Man United as his contract reaches a conclusion.
The striker, who has been further displaced in Erik ten Hag’s pecking order by summer signing Rasmus Hojlund, is currently out of contract at the end of the season.
However, the Old Trafford club have the option to extend his deal by a further 12 months.
It is believed they could activate that option to protect his value, before searching for potential suitors in 2024.

A well-placed source has told Football Insider that Martial could be sold in the upcoming January window or next summer.
There was interest in Martial in the most recent summer window, but a move failed to materialise before the 1 September deadline.
He has started just three games across his nine appearances in all competitions this season, scoring once in the League Cup.
Martial, whose basic salary is around £250,000-a-week, has been limited to a substitute role since Hojlund made his first start against Brighton in the Premier League on 16 September.
He was a more regular feature last term but hit just nine goals in 29 appearances across all competitions.
The former France international has racked up 89 goals and 54 assists in 307 appearances for Man United since signing from Monaco for a reported initial fee of £38.5million in 2015.
Martial had a brief loan spell at Sevilla in the second half of the 2021-22 campaign but managed just one goal and one assist in 12 games in Spain.
