Sources: Man United £60m Guehi bid would be accepted
Man United will have to pay at least £60million to get a deal for Crystal Palace defender Marc Guehi over the line in 2024, sources have told Football Insider.
Football Insider revealed on Monday (16 October) that Guehi, 23, is a target for United as well as several other Premier League sides.
Erik ten Hag’s side are keen to add to their pool of options with Raphael Varane and Lisandro Martinez already suffering serious injuries in the 2023-24 campaign.
However, it is believed Guehi is unwilling to move clubs in the January window as he wants regular first-team football prior to the European Championships in the summer of 2024.
His contract at Selhurst Park is set to run until June 2026, meaning Palace can ask for a mega-money fee for his signature.
Football Insider revealed on Thursday (19 October) that Roy Hodgson’s side are preparing to gauge Guehi’s interest in a potential new deal.

The ex-Chelsea man earns a reported wage of £50,000-a-week on his current deal.
Guehi has turned out nine times across all competitions for Palace so far this season with Roy Hodgson’s side sitting ninth in the Premier League.
He missed just one Premier League fixture last term amid 40 total outings across all competitions.
The 23-year-old’s stellar performances since joining the Eagles have earned him seven caps for England, with his international debut coming in March 2022.
Palace’s record sale is the departure of Aaron Wan-Bissaka to Old Trafford in 2019, which netted the London club a reported £50million.
