Arsenal fans are all saying the same thing as they react to David Raya's display v Chelsea

Arsenal fans are ready to welcome Aaron Ramsdale back into their starting lineup after David Raya’s mistake against Chelsea on Saturday afternoon.

The Gunners fought back from two goals down to rescue a point against their London rivals at Stamford Bridge.

Cole Palmer opened the scoring from the penalty spot before Mykhailo Mudryk doubled Chelsea’s lead after spotting Raya off his line.

The Ukrainian, who was a target for Arsenal last January, looped the ball over Raya‘s head from a difficult angle after the Spaniard found himself out of position.

Mikel Arteta has preferred to start Raya in Premier League matches this season after signing the 28-year-old on loan from Brentford this summer.

Ramsdale wasn’t in the matchday squad for Arsenal on Saturday as he attended the birth of his child, and Gunners fans hope to see him back in the starting lineup once he returns to action.

This fan was quick to issue an apology to Ramsdale for losing his spot in the side, suggesting he ‘deserves better’.

Others simply fail to see why Arteta has preferred to play Raya over Ramsdale in recent weeks.

Arteta was pressured by some fans to stick to his word and make a change between the sticks after promising that his decision would be based on performances.

The Raya-Ramsdale debate has split the Arsenal fanbase in recent weeks, but this fan fails to see how it is even up for question.

Raya’s performances seem to have this fan on the verge of a nervous breakdown.
