Agbonlahor suggests Thiago Silva U-turn at Chelsea after new reveal - 'there's no doubt'
Gabby Agbonlahor has insisted there is “absolutely no doubt” Thiago Silva can “play on” at Chelsea despite his advancing years.
The former Aston Villa striker, speaking exclusively to Football Insider, admitted the 39-year-old may choose to return to Brazil or head to Saudi Arabia after his time in England.
Football Insider revealed on Sunday (22 October) that Brazillian giants Fluminense are ready to offer Silva the chance to return to his homeland next summer.
Sources have also told Football Insider (20 October) that the veteran defender is now increasingly likely to leave the Blues at the end of the season.
Silva‘s contract at Stamford Bridge is set to expire in June 2024.
He has been at the club since 2020 and lifted the Champions League in his first campaign in England.

The 113-cap star has played every minute of all nine Premier League games this season and has racked up 126 appearances in total for Chelsea.
Agbonlahor told Football Insider’s Ewan Kingsbury: “It will depend on him and what kind of level he wants to play at.
“He might look at it and think he’s earned enough money at Chelsea, and he’s happy to take less somewhere else.
“He might even be settled in London. He’s been there a while.
“We don’t know what his plans are, exactly. He could go back to Brazil or try Saudi Arabia.
“But if we’re talking about him as a player. Looking at his performances so far this season, there’s absolutely no doubt that can still play on in the Premier League. So, I expect a U-turn could happen”.
