'World class', 'A thing of beauty' - Celtic fans blown away by Matt O'Riley
Celtic fans have once again been blown away by Matt O’Riley’s latest performance.
Football Insider has been gathering the reaction of supporters after O’Riley’s display against Atletico Madrid on Wednesday night (25 October).
The 22-year-old has been having an incredible season so far having scored six goals in 13 appearances and has been hugely impressing the Celtic support.
Wednesday night was no different and the midfielder was part of a wonderfully worked goal that gave the Hoops the lead less than five minutes into their game against Atletico Madrid.
O’Riley put in a stunning performance for the remainder of the game but it wasn’t enough to keep hold of the lead.
The Hoops went on to concede a penalty before Luis Palma fired Celtic ahead again but Alvaro Morata’s header levelled the tie once again with neither side finding a winner.

But fans were still hugely impressed with what O’Riley did on the pitch.
One branded O’Riley’s part in the opening goal “world class” and wouldn’t be surprised to see Xavi, Iniesta and Lionel Messi linking up the way the Celtic trio did.
One fan claimed O’Riley is the “best one touch passer” they have seen play for the Celts.
Another hailed O’Riley’s “magnificent” showing against a tough opponent.
One fan suggested there will be a “for sale sign” on the youngster after his performances this term.
One fan is worried that it won’t be long before the midfielder moves on.
Another suggested O’Riley is even better than Antoine Griezmann.
And one supporter said O’Riley has filled the gap left by Tom Rogic.
