'This has to be the end' - Rangers fans say the same thing about Sam Lammers after 2-1 win against Hearts
Rangers fans have had their say about striker Sam Lammers’ performance after Philippe Clement’s side left it late to beat Hearts 2-1 on Sunday (29 October).
Lammers, 26, was handed a start by Clement on the right-hand side of a three-pronged attack – but was substituted with seven minutes remaining.
He has managed just one goal and one assist in 19 appearances across all competitions this season.
Rangers paid a reported £3.5million for the Dutchman’s services in the summer transfer window.
The Ibrox crowd cheered ironically as forward duo Lammers and Cyril Dessers were replaced with the Gers chasing – and eventually winning the game.
Lawrence Shankland gave Hearts the lead after just five minutes but late goals from James Tavernier and Danilo turned the game on its head.

Another claimed teammates of the two “empty shirts” are trying to avoid passing to them.
One fan simply insisted that the Hearts game must be “the end” for both Dessers and Lammers.
Another supporter posted a collection of Lammers’ “bad” misses already in the 2023-24 campaign.
More Rangers fans insisted former manager Michael Beale has “screwed us over” with his choice of summer signings.
Another suggested Ianis Hagi, who went on a season-long loan to Alaves in La Liga, is “astronomically clear” of Lammers.
