Ryan Gravenberch: Liverpool AGREE £34.2 million deal with Bayern Munich as medical scheduled - sources
Liverpool have agreed a £34.2million deal for Bayern Munich midfielder Ryan Gravenberch and he is set to undego a medical tomorrow, sources have told Football Insider.
The Holland international is expected to arrive on Merseyside tonight after being given the green light to complete a box-office move from the Bundesliga giants.
Bayern are now expected to push ahead for Fulham’s Joao Palhinha after holding extensive talks over a deal.
Gravenberch is set to sign a five-year deal at Anfield after already agreeing personal terms with the Merseyside giants.
The 21-year-old was flying to Liverpool on Thursday evening and will put the finishing touches to the transfer on deadline day.
The deal is seen as a major coup by Liverpool, given the player’s pedigree and the fact he has also attracted strong interest from Man United, who tried to hijack their deal earlier in the week.

Gravenberch made 33 appearances across all competitions last season – but managed just three league starts.
He has played just nine minutes in the 2023-24 campaign – against Augsburg last weekend – having been an unused substitute in games against RB Leipzig and Werder Bremen.
Liverpool recently signed Japan and Stuttgart star Wataru Endo but have remained in the hunt for midfield reinforcements after losing several players this summer.
The Reds have also added Alexis Mac Allister and Dominik Szoboszlai but are short in defensive midfield after letting Naby Keita, Fabinho and ex-captain Jordan Henderson leave the club.
