Pundit can't believe Jack Harrison latest as new Leeds United details emerge
Everton’s willingness to take Jack Harrison on loan from Leeds United this summer was incredibly strange.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, former West Ham striker Frank McAvennie couldn’t believe the Toffees were willing to bring in a player who was already injured.
Harrison joined Sean Dyche’s side this summer on loan from the Whites following their relegation from the Premier League whilst he was still recovering from a hip injury.
Speaking to the Everton club media (16 October), the 26-year-old praised the staff at Goodison Park for helping in his rehabilitation and getting him back playing sooner than expected.
The midfielder knew it was going to be difficult moving clubs whilst undergoing rehab but has been hugely impressed with the Everton staff.
Harrison has made three appearances for Sean Dyche’s side so far as he slowly returns to full fitness and has scored his first goal for the club.

But McAvennie couldn’t believe the player even made the move to being with.
“It is a strange one because normally you do not move when you are injured,” he told Football Insider.
“It is something that I do not have a reference for because I have never heard of anyone doing that before. What happens now if something had gone wrong in the rehabilitation?
“It is mad that a club would be willing to take a player like that. They must have known that he was going to be alright.“
