'Pure class', 'She hates Man United now' - Fans react as Laura Woods 'pied' by Ten Hag
Football fans have had their say after TNT Sports presenter Laura Woods was left embarrassed by Man United boss Erik ten Hag in the aftermath of his side’s 1-0 win over FC Copenhagen on Tuesday (24 October).
As seen on X, Woods tried to shake the Dutchman’s hand after concluding her on-pitch post-game interview but was left red-faced as Ten Hag instead chose to acknowledge ex-United stars Rio Ferdinand and Paul Scholes first.
The Man United boss eventually embraced the presenter but it was too late – with Woods remarking: “How weird was that?”
She went on to insist she’d been “pied completely” by Ten Hag.
The Dutchman was in good spirits after his side picked up a crucial win in the Champions League – their first of the 2023-24 campaign.
One fan claimed he had “never seen Ten Hag so friendly” in an interview – and attributed that change to Woods.
