Tottenham told who to sign in January 'to win title' - expert
Tottenham need to sign a number nine in January if they want to challenge at the top of the table.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, former Spurs defender Alan Hutton has been hugely impressed by the start Ange Postecoglou has made to life in London.
The Lilywhites sit top of the Premier League table and have been unbeaten in their opening nine league games this season.
Postecoglou has already broken managerial records in the English top flight, taking 23 points from his opening nine matches, a feat no other manager has achieved in their first season in the Prem.
The Australian joined Spurs from Celtic in the summer after an impressive campaign in Scotland, leading the side to back-to-back league titles.
When asked how long Spurs can maintain their current unbeaten run, Hutton told Football Insider: “It is an interesting one and I think that is the question that everyone will be asking.

“I think they will do well this season under Ange, I know a lot of people did not know him before Spurs but I obviously knew him really well, he has really transformed that team with the style of play that he has got.
“I think he can continue this way, nothing changes for him, he will always play this style and always wants the same out the players.
“The signings have been good, he has got the best out of players that were already there.
“The big thing for me is can he add in January? Can he go and get another number nine so he has got different options? I think that is the missing piece if they really want to go and challenge and win the title but the start has been really quite incredible.“
