Agbonlahor shares '100%' Everton relegation verdict after 12-point deduction news
Gabby Agbonlahor has insisted Everton can “100%” survive relegation if they get a 12-point deduction – but will have to find out their fate “now”.
The former Aston Villa striker, speaking exclusively to Football Insider, suggested promoted trio Luton, Sheffield United and Burnley are all in danger of the drop.
According to The Telegraph (25 October), the Premier League have suggested a record-breaking 12-point deduction if Everton are found guilty of breaching profit and sustainability rules.
Football Insider revealed last week (27 October) that the Merseysiders are set to learn the conclusion of their FFP hearing within the next few days.
Everton have been investigated after posting losses of £372million in the previous three seasons – far over the league’s £105million limit.
A 12-point loss would leave Sean Dyche’s side on minus two points following Sunday’s (29 October) 1-0 win over West Ham.

When asked if there is any chance Everton could survive with the deduction, Agbonlahor told Football Insider’s Ewan Kingsbury: “100%.
“If there’s any season you could survive with minus points, it’s this season.
“But it would have to happen now. If they’re going to get the deduction, they’ll want to know now.
“Everton will be on minus two points, and 17th would be on five.
“So you look at that and think: ‘It’s not too bad’.
“If you win one game, you’d go above Sheffield United. They’re struggling, Luton are struggling, Burnley are struggling, Bournemouth are struggling.
“If there’s any season Everton can afford to go minus 12, it’s now.”
