'Football's biggest scam' - Arsenal fans have turned on Jorginho after win v Sevilla

Arsenal fans have turned on Jorginho after his performance against Sevilla on Tuesday night (24 October).

Football Insider has been gathering the reaction of fans following Tuesday’s 2-1 Champions League win over Sevilla and most supporters have been unimpressed with Jorginho.

The 31-year-old joined the Gunners in the summer after leaving Chelsea and put pen to paper on a one-year deal after spending five years at Stamford Bridge.

Jorginho joined alongside former West Ham star Declan Rice as a new arrival in midfield and whilst the latter has hugely impressed supporters, fans have been underwhelmed by Jorginho since he came to the Emirates.

The Italian has made ten appearances for Mikel Arteta’s side so far this season and is yet to provide an attacking return, having been in the starting lineup for just four of those outings..

Jorginho started in midfield alongside Rice and Martin Odegaard but left fans disappointed with his performance.

One fan blamed Arteta for recruiting Jorginho in the summer and branded the midfielder a “hazard”.

Another fan is worried it won’t be long before Jorginho causes a big slip up.

Another has been hugely impressed by Jorginho’s midfield partner but is worried about the pair together.

Others are concerned about the impact the midfielder is having on his teammates.

One supporter suggested Jorginho should be playing in Saudi.

One branded Jorginho a “scam”.
