Sources: Max Aarons undergoing medical today after Leeds United hijack
Max Aarons is undergoing a Bournemouth medical on Thursday (10 August) after they hijacked Leeds United’s deal for him, sources have told Football Insider.
Leeds had agreed a deal with Norwich City for the England Under-21 international for a package worth over £10million in total.
But Bournemouth made a late move to ambush United and Aarons has now opted to join the Premier League club instead.
The 23-year-old will now undergo a medical with Bournemouth before completing the paperwork on the deal.
Aarons, who played for new Leeds manager Daniel Farke at Norwich, has only a year remaining on his contract at Carrow Road.
He is proven in both the Premier League and Championship, and that has helped make him a top target for clubs in England and on the Continent this summer.
A deal for Aarons would not be the Cherries only hijacked deal of the window.

On 1 August, Football Insider revealed that the south coast club are in advanced talks to sign Bristol City star Alex Scott.
They are set to beat Premier League rivals Wolves to the signing of the 19-year-old after both clubs tabled multiple bids for the young talent.
City have been holding out for their £25m valuation to be met for their star midfielder but Bournemouth are winning the race to land Scott ahead of Wolves.
West Ham were also linked with the England youth international but are likely to miss out to the Cherries.
In other news, Rangers star has been spotted at Leeds United with move on the cards.
