Stan Collymore makes instant prediction for Liverpool v Porto in Champions League

Stan Collymore made an early prediction for Liverpool v Porto after the teams were drawn against each other in the Champions League knockout stage.

The pundit posted his opinion on Twitter, making predictions on all Champions League ties involving English clubs.

Collymore suggested Liverpool would face a tough task as he predicted them to edge it over two games, with a score draw away from home, before the “fab four” of Liverpool’s attackers saw them through at Wembley.

Liverpool are set to travel to face Porto in the first-leg on February 13 before playing the second-leg at Anfield on March 6.

Porto have had a mixed Champions League campaign so far finishing runners-up to Besiktas in their group.

Liverpool topped their group after a stunning 7-0 demolition job on Spartak Moscow in the last group game.

However, despite their European success this season, Liverpool are not doing so well in the Premier League, and the latest disappointment was a draw in the Merseyside derby v Everton on Sunday.

They dominated the game but didn’t put it beyond the visitor’s reach and paid the price when Wayne Rooney scored a late equaliser from the spot.

Liverpool are currently 16 points behind league leaders Man City.

In other Liverpool news, Reds legend John Arne Riise has criticised Klopp for this decision he made against Everton.
