Sources: Liverpool have 'active interest' in three stars with same agents

Liverpool have an active interest in Ryan Gravenberch, Khephren Thuram and Micky Van de Ven, sources have told Football Insider.

The trio are all represented by the same agents, and that is a key relationship for the club in this window.

Liverpool are expected to sign at least one more midfielder, potentially two, as well as a centre-back.

A deal for Thuram is currently more likely than Gravenberch, a deal for whom is on the backburner while Bayern assess where he fits into their plans.

On Sunday (25 June), Football Insider revealed that the Reds are keen on Thuram and are pushing hard to secure a full agreement with Nice.

The 22-year-old is believed to be keen on the move and Liverpool are expecting that they will get the deal done.

Gravenberch, 21, made 33 appearances for Bayern Munich this season following his arrival from Ajax last summer and scored just one goal in those outings.

Of the 24 Bundesliga appearances the midfielder made, he was in the starting lineup for three of those games.

Thuram’s current contract runs until 2025 and Gravenberch and Van de Ven are contracted at their clubs until 2027.

The Reds are in need of a rebuild this summer, particularly in midfield, after a disappointing European and domestic campaign.

Jurgen Klopp has already completed the signing of Alexis Mac Allister who joins from Brighton and will officially become a Red on 1 July when the window opens.
