Sources: Liverpool ready to accept 'Polish Messi' offer
Liverpool are willing to listen to offers for academy winger Mateusz Musialowski this summer, sources have told Football Insider.
The 19-year-old, who was described as the ‘Polish Messi’ upon his arrival, is attracting interest from a number of clubs in his homeland ahead of a possible return.
And the Reds will not stand in his way in the event of an acceptable bid being received either from the Polish Ekstraklasa league or elsewhere.
Musialowski recently changed agents in preparation for a potential departure, with his parents now understood to be overseeing his career.
They must now focus on securing a move for their son after he endured a difficult season with Liverpool’s U21s side last time out.
Musialowski made just eight starts in Premier League 2 in 2022-23 as he saw the likes of Ben Doak and Harvey Blair move ahead of him in the attacking pecking order.

The route to senior football at Anfield also currently looks blocked off, with Doak considered the likeliest of the club’s young wingers to make that jump in the short term.
Musialowski signed for the Reds from SMS Lodz in 2020 after reportedly scoring 130 goals in just 80 games at youth level.
He made an instant impact for the Reds’ academy, living up to his lofty nickname with his close control and dribbling skills.
However, his development is thought to have stalled in his third year on Merseyside, opening up the possibility of a departure this summer.
The forward has just 12 months remaining on the first professional deal he signed in July 2021.
As such, a cut-price deal could be on the cards for the many clubs understood to be interested in his signature.
In other news, Liverpool are expected to face stiff competition from a Premier League rival for the signing of their next major midfield target.
