'Bellingham vibes', 'Robbed Bayern Munich blind' - Liverpool fans react to Ryan Gravenberch's display in 5-1 win over Toulouse

Liverpool fans were full of praise for Ryan Gravenberch after a performance in his side’s 5-1 victory over Toulouse in the Europa League on Thursday night (26 October).

The Dutchman is yet to emerge as a regular for Jurgen Klopp’s side since his summer move from Bayern Munich but has started all the Red’s European clashes this season, securing his second goal in the competition against the Ligue 1 side.

Gravenberch scored Liverpool’s fourth of the night at Anfield, capitalising on a Darwin Nunez blunder. The Uruguayan took the ball around goalkeeper Guillaume Restes but lashed his shot into the post.

Fortunately, Gravenberch remained composed on the rebound to make it 4-1 to truly put the game to bed for the Reds.

The 21-year-old, with two goals and two assists in all competitions, reeled away in celebration in front of Anfield’s Kop end after saving Nunez’s blushes.

Fans were thoroughly impressed by Gravenberch’s performance and have dubbed him a bargain after his £35million move.

Another, while hesitating to compare him to Zinedine Zidane, praised his dribbling ability against Toulouse.

One fan likened Gravenberch to another talented young midfielder – Jude Bellingham.

The comparisons didn’t end there, with another Liverpool supporter likening Gravenberch to Yaya Toure.

One Reds fan praised Gravenberch’s partnership with Nunez, despite the latter’s miss, but hoped the Dutchman could prove to be a replacement for former Liverpool star Georginio Wijnaldum.

Another was left very impressed by Gravenberch’s display, suggesting his former club had let him go for less than his worth.
