Sources: Pedro Neto 'interested' in joining Arsenal from Wolves
Arsenal target Pedro Neto would be “interested” in quitting Wolves for a club challenging for honours, sources have told Football Insider.
Football Insider revealed on Monday (2 October) that Wolves are unwilling to let Neto, 23, leave the club in January amid continued interest from the Gunners.
Neto has been widely linked with the Gunners, who are long-term admirers and tried to sign him once again in the summer window.
It is believed a deal in January could be hard to do – but a well-placed source has told Football Insider that more clubs could join the race for his signature if the electrifying winger’s good form continues.
Sources say a move in the summer of 2024 could be more likely with Wolves still in Financial Fair Play trouble.
Football Insider revealed on Tuesday (3 October) that the Molineux club will have to consider any “huge” offer that arrives for any of their top stars – despite already selling the likes of Ruben Neves and Matheus Nunes.

A well-placed source has told Football Insider that Gary O’Neil’s side are “not totally out of the woods yet” when it comes to FFP.
And that means the big sale of Neto in 2024 cannot be ruled out, despite his contract at Molineux running until June 2027.
The winger has been unlucky with injuries in recent seasons, missing a huge chunk of games in the 2021-22 and 2022-23 campaigns.
He has bounced back to top form at the start of the 2023-24 campaign – playing every minute of all seven league games and notching one goal and four assists.
Neto, who cost a reported fee of around £16million when he joined from Lazio in 2019, has played 118 times for Wolves, notching 12 goals and 17 assists.
