'Absolutely disgusting' - Celtic fans react to what Diego Simeone did at full-time

Celtic fans were “disgusted” by Atletico Madrid manager Diego Simeone after his interaction with Brendan Rodgers at the full time whistle.

Football Insider has been gathering the reaction of fans after Simeone was spotted looking less than impressed with Rodgers’ attempt to shake his hand after Wednesday night’s (25 October) match.

As shown on TNT Sports (25 October), the Atletico boss wasn’t willing to complete a proper handshake with his opposing manager.

Instead, he ignored Rodgers’ offered hand and did a quick high five before turning his back and marching off towards the tunnel.

An impressive first half performance from the Hoops helped to secure a 2-2 draw against the Spanish giants and keep their European hopes somewhat alive ahead of their trip to Spain for the away match.

Simeone’s side went down to ten men for the final ten minutes of the match but managed to secure a point and keep their place in the qualification spots whereas Celtic failed to move off the bottom of the group.
