Sources: Burton Albion plotting to sign Bournemouth starlet Nathan Moriah-Welsh
Bournemouth midfielder Nathan Moriah-Welsh is being lined up for a loan move to Burton Albion, sources have told Football Insider.
Moriah-Welsh, 20, is currently training with Burton as Brewers boss Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink weighs up a move for the Guyana international.
Moriah-Welsh is highly regarded at Bournemouth making two first-team appearances for Scott Parker’s side last season in the FA Cup.
Bournemouth feel Moriah-Welsh would be best served to go out on loan next season to continue his development with his first-team opportunities set to be limited in the Premier League.
A versatile operator, Moriah-Welsh is most comfortable in the number eight role but has often been deployed as a full-back for the development side.
He is a fully-fledged international for Guyana, for whom he has made four appearances.

The youngster signed a new contract at the outset of 2021-22, although Bournemouth did not disclose the length of the deal.
Moriah-Welsh made his senior club debut in January, playing 90 minutes as the Cherries beat Yeovil Town 3-1 in the FA Cup third round.
He made his second and most recent appearance in the 1-0 shock fourth-round defeat to Boreham Wood.
Moriah-Welsh also made the bench nine times in 2021-22 as Parker’s side bounced back to Premier League at the first time of asking.
He could become Burton’s third addition of the window following the arrival of 24-year-old attacking midfielder Davis Keillor-Dunn and 20-year-old goalkeeper Viljami Sinisalo from Oldham Athletic and Aston Villa respectively.
