Tottenham expert fumes at Harry Winks as 'agents' lambasted
Tottenham should be doing more to find Harry Winks a new club as he remains out of Antonio Conte’s plans.
That is according to Spurs insider John Wenham, who regularly breaks news about the club on his Lilywhite Rose social media channels.
Winks remains at Tottenham but out of Antonio Conte’s first-team plans after speculation regarding his future dried up.
According to i news‘ Mark Douglas (30 June), Everton have cooled their interest in the 26-year-old with Frank Lampard unimpressed after conducting “due diligence”.
Wenham can’t believe there has not been another Premier League side interested in the midfielder.
“It’s depressing,” Wenham told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild.

“A club like Bournemouth should be paying £12million or £15million for Winks. He could be a regular starter for them and he would be decent for them.
“This is a guy that ran the show against Real Madrid at Wembley the year we nearly win the Champions League, I mean, come on.
“Surely he is an improvement on Jefferson Lerma and Sam Billings. He is an improvement on these people.
“I am surprised they didn’t come in for him. I am also disappointed that Tottenham can’t get agents and intermediaries doing more to make this deal happen.”
Winks has only ever played for Spurs, joining the club’s academy in 2002 and making his senior debut in November 2014.
He has gone on to make 203 appearances for the club.
