Sources: Bournemouth set to sign Feyenoord star Marcos Senesi as medical underway
Feyenoord defender Marcos Senesi is undergoing a medical at Bournemouth, sources have told Football Insider.
Senesi, 25, flew into the south coast today (7 August) for a medical and talks ahead of his move to the Premier League new boys.
The Argentina international has agreed a four-year deal with the Cherries and is expected to finalise his move within the next 24 hours.
Senesi was in the last year of Feyenoord contract and Bournemouth have taken advantage of his situation.
The highly-rated centre-back made his Argentina debut earlier this year and played 50 times across all competitions in 2021-22.
Bournemouth are in desperate need of defensive reinforcements despite keeping a clean sheet in their 2-0 win over Aston Villa in their opening Premier League game of the season on Saturday (6 August).
