Sources: Jefferson Lerma set to snub West Ham and join Euro club
West Ham target Jefferson Lerma is likely to leave Bournemouth for an overseas club this summer, sources have told Football Insider.
The Irons, Crystal Palace and Fulham have all been credited with an interest in the 28-year-old – who is out of contract next month.
Football Insider revealed on Tuesday (9 May) that Bournemouth midfielder Lerma has rejected multiple renewal offers ahead of a potential summer exit.
But sources with knowledge of the situation have revealed that the Cherries could return with one final bumper offer with their Premier League survival all but guaranteed.
Lerma has options in Spain, Italy and Germany as his contract situation comes to a head.
It is believed that the Colombia international has his sights set on a move away from the Vitality Stadium in the off-season.

He has notched five goals in 34 Premier League games this season after helping Bournemouth to promotion in the 2021-22 campaign.
Lerma currently earns a reported wage of £55,000-a-week on the south coast.
The versatile midfielder joined Bournemouth for a reported club-record fee of £25million back in 2018, signing a five-year deal which has not been extended during his time at the club.
He has made 181 appearances for the Cherries in that time and could reach 100 Premier League appearances by the end of the 2022-23 campaign.
Football Insider revealed last week (4 May) that West Ham are scouring the transfer market for a midfielder signing as they prepare for life after Declan Rice.
Irons captain Rice is a top target for Arsenal as the summer window approaches.
