Holding and Arsenal teammate slammed by pundit for bad attitudes after confirmed news
Kevin Campbell has slammed Arsenal stars Cedric Soares and Rob Holding after the defeat at Nottingham Forest.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the former Gunners and Everton striker questioned the pair’s “hunger” after Sunday’s 1-0 loss at the City Ground.
Mikel Arteta made a number of changes to his side for the FA Cup third round tie against Nottingham Forest.
Rob Holding and Cedric Soares were two players given a rare start in the fixture.
However, the Gunners struggled throughout the 90 minutes and failed to register a shot on target.
As quoted by Football.London (9 January), Arteta said he was “really disappointed” by his side’s performance but refused to talk about “individuals”.

When asked by Football Insider for his assessment of individual performances, Campbell said:
“One thing I will say is Mikel Arteta made those changes to give fringe players a chance.
“He wanted to see how the lads who haven’t been playing are doing. He wanted to see them look hungry.
“But let’s be honest, they didn’t look hungry at all though. I’m talking about the likes of Rob Holding and Cedric.
“It was a great opportunity for them. A great opportunity that they didn’t take. It was disappointing.”
Speaking after Sunday’s 1-0 loss, Arteta said: “Really disappointed with the performance first of all not with the attitude.
“But more drive, more hunger to win at any cost in every single action.”
