Leeds United tipped to accept '£25m+' Jack Harrison bid after update - Mills
Leeds United would accept a bid of over £25million for Jack Harrison this summer, according to Danny Mills.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the ex-Whites and England defender admitted he did not think any club would be interested in paying that for the 25-year-old.
The Telegraph reported earlier this week (24 May) that Newcastle United are interested in signing Harrison and are “likely” to submit a bid.
The winger, who moved to Elland Road permanently last summer (2021) after spending three years on loan, has two years left on his contract.
Asked whether Leeds could lose Harrison, Mills told Football Insider correspondent Connor Whitley: “That would surprise me.
“He’s steady without being spectacularly amazing, I would say. I don’t look at him and go ‘Wow, he’s ripping up trees left right and centre every week’.

“He’s good but I don’t see him ready to kick on and go to a whole new level, I’m not convinced.
“Unless he’s angling for a new contract. There’s always that side of it that comes into play.
“I’m not sure what sort of interest there would be. You’d have to pay £25million for him, maybe a touch more. I’m not sure who would be paying that sort of money.
“I don’t see a huge amount of interest in him, that’s the only way I look at it.”
Along with Raphinha, Harrison has been of Leeds’ best players this season with 10 goals and two assists in 38 games across all competitions.
That includes his first Premier League hat-trick in a 3-2 away win at West Ham in January.
