'Toys out the pram' - Noble makes honest admission about much-criticised West Ham team mate
West Ham United captain Mark Noble has called his teammate Joe Hart a “top professional” and says he will be able to handle being dropped from the side who beat Chelsea on Saturday.
The 30-year-old goalkeeper has struggled for form ever since he was dropped from the Manchester City team by manager Pep Guardiola last season and has come under fire for his performances for the Hammers this term.
Hart, who is on loan at West Ham from City, was dropped from the side who beat Chelsea 1-0 at the London Stadium on Saturday lunchtime, with new manager David Moyes favouring the Hammers’ long-term number one Adrian.
However, Nobel has heaped praise on Hart for his attitude and believes he will handle the situation professionally.
“Joe’s a top professional, a great lad and such an asset to our squad because he’s such a good person,” Nobel told the Evening Standard.
“Joe has a similar attitude to me – the team has to come first. I’m not going to chuck my toys out the pram and be in his office asking why he didn’t play me.

“I’ll let my training do the talking and be there for the players, help them as much as I can and be ready to come into the team when needed. Joe will be the same.”
Hart endured an unsuccessful loan spell in Italy with Torino last season and has been in poor form this campaign, conceding 30 goals in just 14 Premier League games.
His place in the England side has also come under threat recently, with Everton goalkeeper Jordan Pickford impressing manager Gareth Southgate.
West Ham are still third-bottom in the Premier League table despite the weekend’s shock victory over the champions Chelsea. It remains to be seen whether Moyes will stick with Adrian for the league clash with Arsenal on Wednesday evening.
In other West Ham news, Michael Owen has made this prediction for the Hammers’ Premier League clash with Arsenal.
