'Don't leave', 'Stay', 'Shame' - Some Aston Villa fans react to Grealish tweet
A section of Aston Villa fans on social media responded to a post by Jack Grealish on Tuesday morning in order to ask the midfielder not to leave the club.
The 22-year-old midfielder bizarrely took to his personal Twitter account on Tuesday in order to share a black and white photo of himself in a Villans shirt with the caption ‘good times’ and this had supporters fearing that his exit was near.

One fan tweeted that he desperately wanted Grealish to stay at Villa Park but did understand the circumstances surrounding his potential exit, while another simply urged the 22-year-old to stay at the Villans.
Football Insider has rounded up a selection of tweets by Villans fans about Grealish’s cryptic post on social media:
Once again, Stay

I desperately want you to stay but understand the circumstances. Go and fulfill your potential Jack. You don't owe the club anything. Will continue to watch your career develop and hopefully one day we will see you back at VP again. ???? #utv

Football Insider verdict:
This a very cryptic tweet by Grealish as reports keep throwing his future at the Villans into doubt and he is no doubt aware of that. However the Birmingham Mail stated on Friday that the Championship club had received no official offers for his services despite chairman Tony Xia being open to selling the fan favourite to the highest bidder. While a few days have past it seems unlikely that Grealish’s exit is imminent for this reason unless a club has come in and made a mouthwatering offer for his services in order to wrap up a deal ridiculously quick. Grealish is talented but it’s hard to imagine a side doing that as most will try to take advantage of the Villans’ need to sell Grealish in order to haggle over the price. Therefore it seems maybe Villans fans should ease off waving goodbye to Grealish just yet as this social media post could just be him making it clear that he has loved his time at the club if he does find himself forced out of the club this summer.
