OPINION
With the Guardian’s report on Salah’s new deal stating that the winger’s new contract doesn’t expire until 2023 then by all means Reds fans should be celebrating the news. While there may be some who are sceptical when a player signs a new deal as sometimes it is done in order to sell him for a big transfer fee in the near future, it is hard to imagine Salah leaving the club. The 25-year-old winger always has a smile on his face when playing for Jurgen Klopp’s side and he is capable of lifting silverware with the Premier League club so doesn’t need to look for a way out anytime soon. Salah scored 44 goals in 52 appearances during his debut season for the club and will no doubt continue scoring in his 2018/19 campaign in order to help his side rack up trophies.
