Redknapp: West Ham have new problem to deal with after win v Chelsea
Jamie Redknapp believes West Ham have created a new ‘problem’ for themselves after their shock victory against Chelsea, but slammed them for not playing that way “week in, week out”.
While on Sky Sports,the pundit shared that he believes the Hammers have now shown what they’re capable of and fans will expect them to continue to perform like that for rest of the season.
“The problem they have now, although it’s not a problem as such, is that they have set such a high standard today and I think ‘how can you be in this position when you can play like that?,” Redknapp wondered.
“It isn’t good enough for me, they should be playing like this week in, week out.”
David Moyes achieved his first victory as West Ham boss after his side beat third-placed Chelsea at the London Stadium.
Marko Arnautovic’ scored the only goal of the game in the sixth minute and then the Hammers successfully defended their lead for the rest of the game.

Redknapp revealed he was impressed with Moyes’ side before he slammed the team for only having 10 points ahead of the game against Chelsea with the squad they have.
The pundit shared that he felt it simply wasn’t good enough that they only produce good performances every so often, and they have to start turning up every week if they want to avoid relegation.
After their victory on Saturday, the Hammers are 18th with 13 points, and are only in the relegation zone due to their goal difference.
West Ham are aiming to move out of the relegation zone on Wednesday when they host Arsenal at the London Stadium.
