Michael Owen predicts Tottenham v Juventus, highlights one big Spurs weakness
Michael Owen revealed that he thinks Tottenham have an “outstanding chance” against Juventus in the Champions League knockout stage but did have slight reservations about them progressing.
Speaking on BT Sport, the pundit complimented Spurs’ starting eleven by saying they have players that “could hurt anyone”, but he doubted their depth in squad.
“They’ve got a very very strong team, starting eleven, but I don’t think their squad is massive,” said Owen.
“As long as they’re fit and healthy before this, I think it’s a toss of a coin game, I couldn’t really make anyone favourites.”
Spurs are set to play Juventus for the first time in a competitive match, when they meet on February 13 for the first leg.
Tottenham will host the second leg on March 7 at Wembley, in between playing Huddersfield and Bournemouth in the league.
