20 in 22 games: Everton want goal machine with release clause who says 'I'm going to England' - report
Everton are interested in Porto’s Vincent Aboubakar who has previously admitted that he is keen on a move to Swansea City, according to a report.
Wales Online report that Swansea City might revive their interest in the striker from the summer despite Paul Clement refusing to comment, but the Swans will have to fight off interest from the Toffees.
Aboubaker publicly spoke in July about a potential move to Swansea City, revealing he was interested in joining the club.
“I’m going to England, Swansea has a proposal, I do not want to miss it,” said the striker as quoted by Wales Online.
“I talked to my manager, I do not want to miss the offer Swansea offers.”
However the same report shares that the Toffees are now interested in the striker as Sam Allardyce is a known admirer.

The striker has scored 20 goals in 22 appearances across all competitions for Porto this season, and this includes five goals in the Champions League.
It is reported that Aboubaker has a £44.1million release clause in his contract, but it’s believed a deal could be agreed for less.
Football Insider Verdict
This would be a huge coupe for Allardyce if he was not only to hijack what looks like a certain deal for Swansea City, but also sign such a prolific striker for the club. Everton have struggled to replace Romelu Lukaku’s goals since his departure to Manchester United and Aboubakar looks like the perfect replacement. It would usually be a hard task for the Toffees to tempt a player set to player in the Champions League knockout stages to the club but with the striker revealing he is willing to go to Swansea City; they have a chance. With the player scoring so many goals this season, he should be in top-form to start fast in January if signed.
In other Everton transfer news, the Toffees have sent scouts out to check out a 24-year-old goal machine.
