Liverpool star Stefan Bajcetic confirms he's out for the season in heartbreaking post
Liverpool midfielder Stefan Bajcetic has confirmed he has been ruled out for the rest of the season with an adductor issue.
The Spaniard missed the Reds’ 1-0 defeat to Real Madrid on Wednesday as a result of the injury, which Jurgen Klopp confirmed beforehand was likely to keep him on the sidelines for some time.
“With Stefan, it is a stress response, which is absolutely bad,” he said.
“He doesn’t feel a lot, it’s only a little bit but he is now out for I don’t know exactly how long. We have just to let it settle then and we will see when he can come back.
“[It’s] high up, around the adductor.”
And Bajcetic has now revealed that he miss the remainder of what has been a breakout campaign as he looks to get over the problem.

He wrote in a social media post that is heartbreaking for him and his legions of fans: “Unfortunately, I’ve picked up an injury that will keep me out until the end of the season.
“It’s very sad to say goodbye to this amazing season for me but I understand this is part of football and will only make me stronger physically and mentally.
“I would also like to say thank you to you reds for all the support through the season and I assure you I will do my best to be back stronger than ever.”
The 18-year-old has made 19 appearances in all competitions and scored his first Premier League goal in a 3-1 win at Aston Villa on Boxing Day.
His progress was rewarded with a new long-term contract at the end of the year, which will tie him to Anfield until 2027.
