Michael Beale working round the clock to reverse Rangers slide - 'he loves it', says expert

Michael Beale isn’t prepared for the pressure he is facing as Rangers manager.

Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, former Gers defender Alan Hutton said Beale has not been in such a high stakes role before and isn’t sure if he is cut out to handle it.

The Gers boss seems to have lost the support of fans and was berated by supporters after the final whistle of last weekend’s 1-0 defeat to Celtic (3 September).

As quoted by the Sun after the defeat, the former QPR boss acknowledged the pressure he is under but insisted that comes with the territory of being the Rangers boss.

Beale is confident he and his squad have what it takes to turn their fortunes around and get the fans back onside.

When asked if Beale will be able to handle the recent criticism and bounce back, Hutton told Football Insider:Time will tell.

We will have to wait and see because he has not been in this situation himself at such a high pressure job.

I think he loves to be out on the grass, loves to work on certain aspects of the game and I am sure that is what they will be doing in the break and when the players come back.

He will be working hard to rectify certain things on the pitch. We will have to wait and see what comes of it because there are some big games around the corner and he will know that he is under pressure to get results.
