Pundit savages Ten Hag after Man United 'behind-closed-doors' bust-up
Man United has become a “circus” as Erik ten Hag lambasted for his treatment of Jadon Sancho.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, former Tottenham and Aston Villa defender Alan Hutton couldn’t believe Ten Hag aired his issues with Sancho so publicly.
Sancho was left out of the matchday squad to face Arsenal before the international break and has played just 76 minutes so far this season.
The United manager said the 23-year-old wasn’t included for the trip to the Emirates because he hadn’t been reaching the desired level in training.
In a now deleted post, Sancho hit back at his manager and claimed the Dutchman’s explanation for his absence was completely untrue.
When asked what he made of Ten Hag airing his grievances with Sancho so publicly, Hutton told Football Insider: “I am not a fan of it.

“These are conversations you can have in his office and it does not have to go anywhere.
“If it is a manager giving the player a telling off, even if it became an argument, it is behind closed doors. Nobody knows apart from those two.
“You settle your differences whatever they may be and you move on from it. I think when it goes public then you are giving everybody an opportunity to have a say on it and make it a big thing and it then becomes a circus.
“I do not think it helps the player, manager or the team. I think it could have been dealt with a lot better.“
