Michael Beale struggling with new signings amid 'big' Rangers claim - Hutton
Michael Beale is still struggling to find his best starting XI at Rangers, despite nine new arrivals.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, former Gers defender Alan Hutton suggested Beale was naive to think all of his signings would fit seamlessly into the starting lineup.
The former QPR boss once again made numerous changes to his side, swapping out three names that started the Europa League game against Real Betis for the 1-0 win over Motherwell on Sunday (24 September).
Loan signing Abdallah Sima, Tom Lawrence and Kemar Roofe dropped out with Lawrence not even featuring on the bench.
They made way for Scott Wright, who has hardly featured for the Gers since Beale’s arrival, and new signings Sam Lammers and Cyriel Dessers.
Sima, Lammers and Dessers made the switch to Ibrox this summer alongside goalkeeper Jack Butland, Dujon Sterling, Danilo, Jose Cifuentes, Kieran Dowell and Leon Balogun.

But Hutton insisted Beale has to be patient with his new arrivals and can’t just throw them in expecting it to work.
“I think people adjust at different times and at different speeds,” he told Football Insider.
“You can’t just bring in nine players and expect them to all hit the ground running at the same time. It would be excellent if that was the case but it does not tend to work like that.
“People will be hitting form at different times, dealing with the pressure that comes with Rangers and playing in big games. It is just taking longer than what he would have hoped.
“He is still searching for that right mix of players. He wants to see a lot of creation up front, that has not quite happened.“
