Tottenham expert 'wowed' by Heung-min Son after source's 'huge' reveal
Heung-min Son is thriving in his new role at Tottenham under Ange Postecoglou.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, former Spurs defender Alan Hutton said the new style of football being played under Postecoglou suits Son’s talent much more than previous methods.
The 31-year-old has scored five goals in seven outings so far this season and is averaging a goal every 98 minutes whereas last season the attacker scored 14 goals across all competitions in the whole season.
On 24 September, Football Insider revealed that the Lilywhites are preparing to offer Son a huge new deal.
The South Korea international has been relishing life under Postecoglou and wants to continue to be a part of his project in north London.
It is believed that the club will activate Son’s extension which will keep him at the club until 2026 but sources say the club could still open talks over a fresh deal which would reflect his status as club captain and, sources say, come with a “huge” pay rise.

Hutton has been enjoying watching Son in his new role at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
“The way Ange wants Tottenham to play is very football-based, it is not long balls up the pitch,” he told Football Insider.
“Wow, Son is very intelligent, he can link play and run in behind so it actually suits him and it gives you an opportunity to bring in different wide players – the likes of Richarlison, if he is picked to play alongside him, and Maddison who has been excellent since signing.
“They have got different options to play there. Son has no problem playing there.“
