Pundit drops Mauricio Pochettino sack claim in 'massive' Chelsea update
Mauricio Pochettino must turn Chelsea results around soon or risk being sacked.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, former Tottenham and Aston Villa defender Alan Hutton isn’t surprised fans are disappointed with the new players given the amount of money the club have spent.
Since the takeover by Todd Bohely and his consortium, the club have spent around £1billion on new signings but most have failed to hit the ground running.
After a disappointing campaign last year, the Blues sacked manager Graham Potter and appointed former Spurs boss Pochettino.
But results have failed to improve this term with just five points from six games, and only one win, that leaves them 14th in the top flight table.
Hutton understands fan frustration but insisted Pochettinio will come good.

“I understand it they have spent a lot of money, close to £1bn,” he told Football Insider.
“So they have spent a lot and the fans have been used to winning trophies for the last 20 years, so they expect that when they spend money these guys come in and the same thing happens.
“It has not worked out, last season was poor, the start of this season has been poor, their injury list is massive. It is quite incredible the number of stars that are out.
“Unfortunately it is going to take time, with such an overhaul of players. It is obvious the results have not been good enough so they are going to have to be pick up soon.“
