Sources: Chelsea have 'best in the business' working on signing Neymar, £95m offer will be accepted
Chelsea have a concrete interest in signing Paris Saint-Germain superstar Neymar, sources have told Football Insider.
The possibility of a deal has been discussed behind the scenes as the Blues set their sights on another statement signing.
It is understood that the attacker, 31, could be prised from PSG for an offer of between £85-95million.
Neymar is deemed a much more affordable option than teammate Kylian Mbappe, who would likely command a fee nearer £180m.
PSG are willing to sell the Brazilian, who has been capped 122 times by his country, to make way for new blood.
He last signed a contract extension in May 2021, committing him to PSG until the end of the 2024-25 campaign.

Chelsea would need to doctor their Financial Fair Play position before signing Neymar – but they are expected to offload up to five players in the summer window.
Sources have also told Football Insider that Todd Boehly has the “best in the business” working for him behind the scenes on growing the club’s revenue.
Neymar was one topic of conversation when the American billionaire met with PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi in Paris on Tuesday (14 February).
Chelsea – who have already spent over £500m on new recruits since Boehly bought the club last May – are also interested in £40m-rated Brentford goalkeeper David Raya.
A centre-forward is on the recruitment department’s shortlist too.
Neymar has scored 117 times in 172 appearances during his time at Parc de Prince and is tied with Pele as his nation’s all-time leading goalscorer
