Sources: Rangers braced for Scott Wright offer after English clubs swoop
Rangers knocked back interest in winger Scott Wright from English clubs in the January window, sources have told Football Insider.
The Glasgow giants were unwilling to let the 25-year-old go as he is seen as a valuable squad player in Michael Beale’s side.
But Wright’s future will be up in the air at the end of the season, when he will have two years left on his contract.
English Championship clubs are believed to have made enquiries for the former Aberdeen star in the recently-shut window.
Rangers rejected the interest, but they are braced for formal offers ahead of the summer.
Wright has made 77 appearances for the Glasgow giants since joining at the end of the January 2021 window for a knock-down fee when his contract was close to expiring at the Dons.
