Sources: Chelsea open official Moises Caicedo talks
Chelsea have opened official Moises Caicedo talks with Brighton, sources have told Football Insider.
The Blues are pushing hard to sign the midfielder, 21, and hope to agree a deal around the £80million mark.
It would be structured through a guaranteed £70m supplemented by £10m of add-ons.
Chelsea are increasingly confident of securing an agreement with Brighton and completing the signing of Caicedo.
The Ecuador international is keen to make the move to Chelsea and has already agreed personal terms with the club.
Last week (22 June), Football Insider revealed that an official bid from the Blues is on the way as they look to sell multiple senior stars to make room for incomings.

The Stamford Bridge club have already sold Mateo Kovacic to Premier League rivals Man City for a reported initial fee of £25m.
Caicedo’s current contract at the AMEX runs until 2027 after he signed a contract extension earlier this year.
The midfielder put pen to paper on a new deal in March following a failed January move to Arsenal that saw Brighton reject a bid of around £70m.
Arsenal now appear to have landed their top midfield target Declan Rice after having a reported bid of £100m plus £5m in add-ons accepted by West Ham.
Football Insider revealed (22 June) that the Gunners had pulled back from the race for Caicedo in order to focus on getting a deal for Rice over the line.
