Sources: New Leeds United signing plan revealed as Farke ready to sell four more stars

Daniel Farke and Leeds United are open to selling Luis Sinisterra and other stars as the club desperately need funds to do their own business in the final weeks of the window, sources have told Football Insider.

The German is eager to resolve the futures of in-demand stars like Sinisterra, Tyler Adams, Wilfried Gnonto and Crysencio Summerville as soon as possible.

Speaking after Saturday’s (12 August) loss against Birmingham, Farke insisted he only wants “people who are fully focused and committed” at the club for this season.

Leeds have picked up just one point from a possible six to start the new campaign, with their injury-hit squad starting to look thin after no fewer than 10 first-team exits.

Adams, who is currently out with a hamstring injury, looks the closest to the exit door – and even completed a medical at Chelsea before seeing that deal cancelled at the eleventh hour.

Football Insider revealed on Tuesday (15 August) that Bournemouth have moved ahead of Brighton in the race to sign the United States international.

Meanwhile, Sinisterra has a reported release clause in his contract at Elland Road and is attracting interest.

Sources told Football Insider on Monday (14 August) that the Colombia international is set join the exodus at Leeds after missing the Birmingham clash.

Gnonto also missed the loss at St Andrew’s – with a club statement suggesting the Italy international has refused to play for the Whites.

Football Insider revealed on Saturday (12 August) that Leeds are holding out for a fee of at least £25million before considering selling the Everton top target.

Meanwhile, Summerville – who is a target for Premier League side Crystal Palace – is currently out injured.

Leeds have brought in limited funds despite losing ten first-team players since the end of last season.

The Whites, who face West Brom on Friday (18 August), have completed four signings this summer – including permanent deals for Karl Darlow and Ethan Ampadu.
