Sources: Chelsea in advanced talks to sell Trevoh Chalobah - but he doesn't want to go
Inter Milan are in advanced talks to sign Chelsea star Trevoh Chalobah, sources have told Football Insider.
Chalobah would prefer to stay at Stamford Bridge but the club are pushing to move him on in the coming weeks.
Football Insider first revealed Inter’s interest in the 24-year-old last month after the Serie A side contacted Chelsea to register their interest in a deal.
The Italian giants have been interested in a move for the defender all season and initially made enquiries over his availability in January.
Chalobah had been keen to hold talks with Inter if permitted by the club but is now believed to prefer to stay in London next season but the club are yet to decide where his future lies.
The Englishman’s current contract runs until 2028 after signing and extension in November last year and made 33 appearances across all competitions last season and was in the starting lineup for 24 of those outings.

But the Blues are also believed to be interested in including Chalobah in a potential swap deal for top target Moises Caicedo.
Roberto de Zerbi’s side are believed to be keen for a possible switch between Caicedo and Chalobah.
Earlier this month (13 July), Football Insider revealed that Chelsea are confident of securing a deal worth £80million for the sought-after midfielder.
The Ecuador international has agreed personal terms with the Blues and his move to Stamford Bridge is edging closer.
