Tottenham news: This is when postponed Arsenal clash will be played - Insider
January’s postponed clash between Tottenham and Arsenal could be played the week commencing 18 April.
That is according to Spurs insider John Wenham, who regularly breaks news about the club on his Lilywhite Rose social media channels.
The Gunners were successful in calling off 16 January’s derby clash against Tottenham.
Arsenal had their request for postponement granted by the Premier League after the club cited a lack of players due to injury, suspension, Covid and players being away at AFCON.
The game has not yet been given a new date due to fixture congestion caused by other postponements through the winter.
Wenham insists there are few options for when the game can take place with mid-April most likely.

“We have a run of home games coming up,” Wenham told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild.
“We have Burnley and Norwich, very, very winnable games that we should be using to position ourselves towards the end of the season.
“Ideally, we need to be as close to Arsenal as possible whenever the name between us gets played.
“I think that will be around game week 33, in mid-April. If we can be either a point or two points behind them by then, that would be ideal.
“There aren’t a lot of options in terms of when this game could be played, Arsenal already have a game in hand.
“We will see what happens but mid-April looks the most likely to me.”
Tottenham are three points behind Arsenal.
However, the Gunners have a game in hand.
